Step by Step Instructions to Get Started

1. If you do not already have the Libby app, search the app store on your device for Libby.

2. Follow the prompt to add your library, or if you already have Libby installed, click on "Add Library."

3. Search by putting in "University of Tennessee" rather than UTC in order to find the UTC Library; tap on "The University of Tennessee, Chattanooga" to select it.

4. You will be prompted to sign in with your card.

5. Libby will warn you that it will open a web browser to complete the sign-in.  Click on "Next" to open the UTCID login webpage.

6. Enter your UTCID and password.

7. Libby will add your ID and password as a library card. This will not replace any cards you already have associated with Libby if you already use the app. The default name of your card will be "The University of Tennessee, Chattanooga." You can rename the card if you wish. Click next when you are finished.

You can switch between cards by clicking on the hamburger menu at the bottom of the app.

8. Browse by categories (there are more categories in the menu with the green balloon icon) or browse all titles. To look for something specific, you can click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the screen.
